Celebration On OEM Job Achievement With The Partner Plant

On May 18, 2023, the two 1,000 MW unit power plant boiler projects and a recovery boiler project, supervised by Babcock & Wilcox Power Equipment Supply (Hubei) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BWDPES") and manufactured by Hubei Huaxing Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hubei Huaxing"), were successfully completed on schedule after eighteen months of intense construction. To celebrate the timely completion of the project, all employees of BWDPES and Hubei Huaxing gathered at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Jingshan, Hubei, to hold a celebration ceremony.                    

At the ceremony, Ms. Wang Chuanrui, General Manager of BWDPES, delivered a speech titled "Moving Forward Together, Cooperating for Mutual Benefit," expressing appreciation and gratitude for the teamwork between BWDPES and Hubei Huaxing, and paying tribute to the support from Hubei Huaxing's senior management. In her speech, she mentioned: "These two projects involved the delivery of a total of 300 long retractable soot blowers and 172 furnace soot blowers. Their successful completion is not only a milestone in the cooperation between BWDPES and Hubei Huaxing but also the result of the joint efforts of both teams."

Ms. Wang further reviewed the project implementation process: "Since the project's inception, a joint project team consisting of members from Diamond America, Diamond UK, Diamond Finland, and Babcock & Wilcox Diamond Asia-Pacific has held weekly meetings. In addition, a daily morning and evening meeting mechanism was established between Babcock & Wilcox China and Hubei Huaxing. Every step of progress and every action plan for the two large-scale projects at the Hubei Huaxing manufacturing site were closely monitored by the Babcock & Wilcox project team. During the actual production and manufacturing process, the Hubei Huaxing team responded positively to the issues and suggestions raised by the Babcock & Wilcox project team, making earnest improvements and timely completions, fully demonstrating the humble and progressive craftsmanship spirit of the Hubei Huaxing team. Here, I extend my deepest respect to the Hubei Huaxing team! In this process, the Babcock & Wilcox China supervision team and all employees of Babcock & Wilcox China also demonstrated the technical, process, and quality expertise of the Babcock & Wilcox Group, which has over 150 years of history in the industry, particularly in Diamond Power soot blower products. Here, I also extend my deepest respect and sincere gratitude to my colleagues at Babcock & Wilcox China!"

She also emphasized: "Looking back, the hard work of Babcock & Wilcox China and Hubei Huaxing employees has been key to our products entering overseas markets. The opportunities and challenges we face are unprecedented and once-in-a-lifetime. The rigorous cooperation and down-to-earth efforts of our partners will lead to the continuous development and orderly progress of industry standards. By participating in these two large-scale projects with all of you here, I am proud to represent our company and the diligent cooperation of everyone involved in the daily work. All of this is to achieve the vision and mission of Babcock & Wilcox China: 'To become the primary, long-term preferred choice for our customers!'"”

In addition, Mr. Mike Parker, Asia-Pacific Director of Global Parts and Services for Diamond and Ash, sent a congratulatory message, expressing his congratulations on the success of the project.

Mr. Dong Hualin, Chairman of Hubei Huaxing, also delivered an inspiring speech, reviewing the history of cooperation between the two parties and expressing his anticipation for future collaboration.

During the celebration ceremony, leaders from both sides recognized and commended the outstanding employees who had worked hard on the front lines over the past eighteen months, thanking them for their dedication and outstanding contributions.  

The success of this project not only marks the strength of BWDPES and Hubei Huaxing in the field of large-scale power equipment manufacturing but also lays a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two parties.
